Talk and demonstration on the combination of Korean traditional music elements of Samulnori and Korean folk songs, Sanjo, Pansori, shaman with western instrumentation and sounds to create an entirely new and exciting fusion.

“Composition, Improvisation and Interaction” By Eva Klesse Quartet
The Quartet will introduce some of their compositions to show how they make music, improvise and interact as musicians, followed with an open dialogue with the audience/participants. The Quartet will also work and perform on one of their musical pieces with participants. Participants are encouraged to bring their instruments.

Talk and demonstration for musicians and non-musicians who are interested in the nature of their own voice. Workshop is to underline the importance of the voice as a tool for conveying emotions, understanding of how one should breathe, the creative approach to everything one does and ability to interconnect in rhythm in order to enjoy making music in a spontaneous, improvisational way
